The Perfect Trip (04-22-13)

How do I know if I’m having the “Perfect Trip”?

EASY!

It’s getting that natural High! And when I say high, I mean it. Literally!

It’s feeling blue once in awhile. When I say “Blue”, I don’t mean “sad”

It’s as simple as lying down all day. Not in a hotel room. But in the element I celebrate – WATER. I don’t mind lying down all day!

It’s just sitting (or standing) at the shore for hours to end the day and just staring at the horizon, waiting for the sun to set.

This is my idea of a perfect trip. Nothing more than life’s gifts that we get to experience everyday. Things we sometimes take for granted just because we know they’ll still be there the next day. These are life’s simple joys, its wealth. Everything I need to make not just my trip, but my life nothing short of PERFECT!

This post is dedicated to my Grandpa Sotero B. Cabahug celebrating his 122nd birthday in heaven right now. He inspired me to travel and I’d like to thank him and the rest of my family for this opportunity.
